Description
Unwind from your day's sightseeing as the sun sets and enjoy the vivid natural colours as the local wildlife perform its evening routine and come to peace watching the stars rise in the crystal clear equatorial night sky while listening to the "house-frogs" evening serenade.
This lavish 300 square meter villa with its 20 meter long infinity pool was completed on June 15th (2010). Originally designed and constructed to exacting Western standards for the personal use of the owner's family and friends we would now like to open the villa to anyone that is seeking a luxurious accommodation in the privacy of a villa residence as an alternative to routine holiday/hotel vacations.The villa itself is comprised of a large airy living room with dining area, deep cushioned seating in Balinese style for relaxing and watching TV or DVDs. There are also two spacious airconditioned suites with fantastic views each with its own large ensuite Balinese style open air bathroom/shower covered in natural stone.

The Pool Suite
This suite features a dressing room between the ensuite restroom and bedroom. Sliding doors lead onto the pool deck/mezzanine and give access to the 60 sq. meter main living room, also with a small bathroom and entrance to the kitchen at the rear of the house.
The Mezzanine Suite
This suite is accessed from the pool deck over a short, curved staircase leading to the upstairs viewing terrace. The upstairs ensuite bathroom has its own small private balcony with stunning views to the local mountains and is an excellent place from which to admire our 2 house temples.

Flights to Bali (Denpasar, the only airport) generally go either over Singapore, Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur from any main hub in the world. We have found Singapore Airlines to be the best in terms of comfort with Air Asia to have the best prices, although price is very dependent upon time of year. For instance Singapore Airlines is often cheaper in the off-season but with longer advance booking needed - Air Asia is generally cheaper in high season but with corresponding gaps in availability. Virgin Air, Emirates and KLM have also good offers sometimes.
To find Villa Surya we recommend taking a local Balinese chauffeur or take advantage of our free pick-up service.
Villa Surya is situated in the village of Jasri (some locals call it Jasi) just outside of Candi Dasa on the south east coast of Bali.
Area description
The pool seating area surrounding the large 20 meter infinity swimming pool built of native Balinese green stone is placed in the middle of a freshwater plant and fish habitat, shaded by coconut, banana and fragrant frangipani trees.
Our full time Balinese housekeeping staff will gently cater to your wishes starting with a complete breakfast and then throughout the day; a chauffeur can be arranged at any time by our staff. During a week’s stay you will be invited to enjoy a free massage.
Nearby tourist attractions are Tenganan Village, Ujung Water Palace, Tirtagangga Watergardens, Besakih Temple and Amed for the diving enthusiast. Not to forget both beautiful Candi Dasa for its first class restaurants, shopping and night life only 8 kilometres away there is also Amlapura the provincial capital of Karangasem famous for its authentic Balinese market only 2 kilometres away.
