Tuscan Farmhouse with Swimming Pool

Description

The town of Anghiari is nicely situated in the heart of the Upper Tiber Valley (Alta Valtiberina). Officially listed as “Uno dei Borghi piú belli d'Italia” (one of the most beautiful towns in Italy), the small and picturesque medieval town of Anghiari is laid-back but cultured while being lively but without suffering from hordes of tourists. It is also an excellent base for easy day-trips to the “jewels” of Tuscany and Umbria such as Florence, Siena, Perugia and Assisi, just to mention a few.

This secluded property has a large swimming pool (12 x 6 meters) and the plot extends over 5,000 sqm -fully enclosed, of which around half is a spacious garden with fruit trees and the rest is forest with oak trees. There is an alluring landscape surrounding the property with tobacco fields, sunflowers, olive trees and vines.

The house is about 200 square meters. It has a well equipped kitchen (microwave, large fridge/freezer, gas cooker and oven, dishwasher, food processor) and seats a minimum of 6, big dining room (seating 10) and a large living room with a fire place, 3 generously sized bedrooms, two with double beds and one room with two single beds. It also has an upstairs living room with a sofa bed that sleeps 2. In the upstairs living room there is a 50 inch LCD TV, DVD player, board games, films and books, and the house is also equipped with Wi-Fi. The privacy of the house is undisturbed and it combines rural peace with the convenience of local shops and very good restaurants.

Truffles, oilve oil, goat cheese are all available locally, and extensive details for local attractions/businesses and our personal favorites are available at the property.

The pool is open from mid May to end of September. We have a fence around the swimming pool, however, it is not secure as per any international standard.

Cot, high chair and stroller (suitable 6 month+ with rain cover (Chicco Snappy)) is available upon request
