THIS IS A FOUR SEASON PROPERTY in the famous Poland Spring area, at a UNIQUE cottage on the shores of Tripp Lake in Poland, Maine. You have just discovered a cozy 1907 renovated camp surrounded by old growth pines and water that has matured into a nice cottage... resting its old timbers only 22 feet from the water.We are looking for a winter SPORTS family and booking summer rentals right now. RELAX is the word here. The brain shift to doing some camping and breaking the everyday routine is relaxing. This place is the site for easy camping methods: running lake water, hot water, shower and tub, modern appliances, soft carpeting, wood beams, wood stove, computerized furnace,beds/mattresses, BBQ. "Lets camp and, deal with camp kind of stuff-just do something different! " LET"S HAVE SOME DYNAMICS!

It is PERFECTLY "not perfect," but it's a really great cabin. This place is "Nature Lovers Paradise! We are a site between higher ground with a vernal pool (bullfrog, bug and bird sanctuary) and lake. Enjoy all kinds of Nature's critters and plants. Fish from the dock, and if you see a flea inside, feed it to a frog outside. (Just kidding of course.)Sport right down the lane and on the lake when it is frozen and safe. There are woods and trails here. Please arrive and depart with an attitude of gratitude. Try to leave your professional critic at home or in the office. At Nature Lovers Paradise, we live in "SOLUTION MINDED" camping routines. The attitude of this property's owner: OK what's next to do about...? What would you do if this were your home? That is the point. Would you run away or stay and deal with your issue? There is a strict "no refund policy" in effect.

The cottage is not only bright in the morning it faces West where Sunsets are Born. When camping here you have use of 60 feet of waterfront, complete with short dock and its' lakeside views. The owner's camp is close by and she is available to help you make this rental fun and not a lot of work for you:bring in firewood, make sure it is plowed based on your schedule etc.

MORE DETAILS: Enjoy 3 DECKS: A beautiful large less private, deck for eating outside, another private two sided deck on the SE side and a 3rd lower level deck over the waterside provides both space and variety. The gas, charcoal BBQ(s),and lakeside fire-pit gives a campy feeling. Inside a modern gas range ups it to your fully equipped cottage kitchen.,

A dirt, single lane, wooded, private drive curves toward this private site. Professional, family style NEIGHBORS, and the owner's bunkhouse/office- studio are close. People, including the owner, quietly come and go. It is private, yet there are buildings and people nearby doing swimming, boating, relaxed campfire, talking, laughing, fireworks, and mostly pretty quiet playing around types of activities. It is a close and friendly neighborhood type of atmosphere. In addition are the joyous sounds of the ELITE Tripp Lake Camp from across the lake.

It is private, and usually a lot more quiet Sunday night on, during the week and after Labor Day weekend. Indian Summer is coming! This is a 4 Season Rental!

Go INSIDE this comfortable, antique style,cottage. It has an open floor plan. The main room is the living room which is framed with large rough beams, earth tones, wall to wall carpeting, splashes of color and lakeside views. The seating includes Q couch, rocker/recliner, huge overstuffed chair with matching ottoman and a couple of stacked twin mattresses lying by the window overlooking the lake.

Stepping out of the living room toward the fully equipped kitchen you will find pine slab counter tops, oak floors, a cozy dining area with a bay window facing the lake's sunsets in a cafe-like setting. A huge and wonderful wood stove heats the whole place in the winter (along with a monitor- computerized furnace.) Welcome good heart campers and tired travelers!

There are TWO BEDROOMS, one up and one downstairs. The first downstairs bedroom comes with two twins or a king bed. It is located off the living room and walks into a 3/4bath; behind the old (pretty only) piano. Our funky bunk-bed can be set up for long legged adults or children who want all their gear up there with them for a small extra fee. Due to its open concept, with the movable piano, this downstairs bedroom can be possibly considered or converted to HANDICAP ASSESSABLE upon request. Next, a short, steep stairway leads upstairs to the other bedroom, complete with a double futon plus ancient claw foot tub; with its gold painted toe nails- enticing you to rest your traveling toes and souls!

DISH TV , WIFI (for most equipment/N type), DVD, Video and an extensive Video library are on site.
High speed internet is wired into the main cottage. WIFI Internet is available but not guaranteed to your liking. A router is beamed over there at this time. It works fine on most equipment. Owner is available to do best to get you connected if you are willing to work together and get it done.Expect rural not city communication dynamics.)

Camp games: Darts, horse shoes, bad mitten, puzzles, books, and games.

Nature Lovers Paradise is located in the Poland Spring Area , near Portland and other surrounding towns such as Norway, Paris, Oxford, Naples, Lewiston/Auburn. The Poland Spring Area is famous for its "Healing Waters" ; located between the ocean and the mountains. Nature Lovers Paradise is sitting up on land above the Poland Spring aquifers on Tripp Pond/Lake. Maybe you have heard of the famous bottled Poland Spring Water? Port city - Portland, the largest city in Southern Maine, plus "Freeport,"the hometown of LL Bean-the outlet shoppers paradise, are only 45 minutes away. Old Orchard Beach is about an hour away. Ya!.... Skiers, hikers, bikers and climbers this place is your Nature Lovers Paradise to go to and from. Sunday River Ski Resort, Golf and a Casino are only 4 to 40 miles away. Check out Harvest Hill Farms web site, Skin Divers Paradise and Wind surfing lessons are available too. Trip Lake is 3 miles long and 1/2 mile wide, It is ideal for bringing your motorboat, canoe, or kayak and is a good fishing lake year round. Driving your car is your best means of transportation. Public transit is cab services. Yes there are local restaurants.
