Skyline has two sections, separated for privacy. The two sections are always rented together, to only one group at a time. The main section feature a large, bright and airy great room with a cathedral ceiling and extensive Caribbean views. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is open to the great room and shares the ocean views. The great room opens onto a vast 1200-square-foot deck overlooking the sea that runs the full length of the house. Part of the deck is open for sunning, part is roofed for shade. The deck is equipped with a charcoal grill and an outdoor dining area with Caribbean and sunset views.
The main quarters of Skyline house also includes an ocean-view master bedroom suite with king bed and full bath, an ocean-view artist’s studio with lounge area, a large garden-view den/TV room, and a powder room. The guest quarters features a full bath. There is also an outdoor shower located in a private area of the deck, accessible to both the main and guest quarters. (The main quarters and guest quarters are connected by the large deck.)
Skyline House has up to five sleeping rooms. In addition to the main quarters master suite, the guest section of the house features two more bedrooms—a garden-view king bedroom, and a garden-view queen bedroom. The guest section also features an ocean-view sitting room with twin beds. The work-out room can serve as a fifth sleeping room when needed for larger groups.
Skyline House is set in a large garden surrounded by a stone wall, providing plenty of outdoor space for guests and play area for children.

Skyline House is located a three-minute walk from the Caribbean Sea. A ten-minute walk (or one-minute drive) in the opposite direction takes you to Hut Point beach, a spectacular, half-mile-long, pink-sand beach that is usually deserted. A barrier reef offshore keeps the surf mild, making this beach, with its perfect sandy bottom, ideal for swimming . A tiki hut on the beach provides shade when it’s time to get out of the sun.
Just 200 feet from the beach is Skyline House’s large ocean-view pool, which is shared with ten other houses. You will usually have the pool to yourself.
If you enjoy fine dining and nightlife, you won’t have to go far. A short walk down Hut Point beach will take you to the boutique luxury resort Sky Beach Club with its excellent restaurant and beachside infinity pool with swim-up cocktail bar. Sky Beach Club has poolside service—meals and drinks--all day long. A five-minute drive will take you Cocodimama’s fine beachside restaurant featuring authentic Italian cuisine. A ten minute drive will take to famous Tippy’s restaurant and The Beach House tapas restaurant. Several other restaurants are within a 15 minute drive. Most feature live music one or two nights a week.
The town of Governors Harbour, ten minutes away by car, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
The island of Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The island, home to just 8000 residents, is completely safe any time of the day or night. Enjoy the rare experience of picking up hitch-hikers and leaving your keys in the car wherever you go. The snorkeling, diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes, and small villages to explore. We hope you will enjoy Skyline House, and experience all our island has to offer.
