The first floor features the great room and dining area decorated with understated sophistication. The kitchen is large and modern, featuring stainless steel appliances and a custom-designed island – perfect for entertaining. The first floor also has a powder room, a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
The Yellow House has a total of four bedrooms, one on the first floor with twin beds, and three on the second floor, one with twin beds and two with king beds. Both sets of twin beds can be converted to king beds. A private balcony from one of the king-sized rooms offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The twin guest room and second king-sized room share a balcony and views of lovely lush landscaping. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Yellow House is located on a hilltop agove the Village of Governors Harbour. It's a short 3-minute walk down the hill to the town. Down the hill in the other direction is secluded French Leave Beach, a spectacular, mile-long, pink-sand beach considered one of the finest in the Bahamas.
Governors harbour has a lovely collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
