This is a wonderful fully separate quiet one bedroom penthouse apartment located in one of the SF's best areas, Pacific Heights. It has a beautiful garden view and is quite peaceful and has it's own private deck. This is the top floor unit.
The apartment has a living room, bedroom, "eat in" kitchen, with gas stove, bathroom and large private outside terrace.
The apartment becomes available starting August 31, 2013.
It is located on a quiet (non-thru) street that ends at Alta Plaza Park steps. The park is a wonderful urban refuge with walking paths, tennis courts and wonderful views of the city
The apartment has a walking score of 99 and is 2 blocks walk to Fillmore Street shopping district with numerous cafes, movies, markets and upscale restaurants and shops. It is also walking distance to the Marina restaurants and shopping district and Marina beaches and bay, site of this summer's 2013 Americas Cup Finals.
It is also walking distance to The Presidio Golf Club and driving range which is available to the public and is is very beautiful course. The adjacent Presidio National Park is an urban refuge filled with wonderful walking paths, hiking trails, spectacular views and the best that nature has to offer. It is also a spectacular area for bicycling with easy access across the Golden Gate bridge to the Marin Headlands and Marin County on your bike.
Public transit is also excellent and one can either go for a longer walk or hop on a bus to get to the Financial District, Fishermans Wharf, SOMA, and downtown.
Utilities are included as is cable TV, high speed wireless internet. All sheets, towels,linens and hair dryer are of course provided so it is "turn key"move in ready. The kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove and oven and all plates, utensils, coffee maker, and toatser oven are included.
Cheerful owners live in the building are are outdoor enthusiasts.

SF Pacific Height review
Lisa took care of "my boys"- husband and son - who tell me that she left all sorts of good food and drink for them. They loved the apartment and were very disappointed that they had to get away too quickly to say goodbye. We would definitely love to stay with Lisa and husband again - this time, I'm coming, too! Thank you, Lisa - i usually 'provide' for them but you were wonderful!

We loved the private apartment in a great neighborhood with restaurants and coffee shops within steps of the apartment. Our hosts were available if needed, but respected our privacy throughout our stay.

I really enjoyed staying in Lisa and Hal's apartment. First of all, it is quintessential San Francisco in a really classic old house with hardwood floor and high ceilings. There's also a lovely little balcony with a great view of San Francisco. The apartment is quiet and comfortable and there's a lot of privacy. But if you need anything, Lisa and Hal were helpful and responsive. And there were great extras - some snacks and even wine in the kitchen and when Lisa and Hal went to their favorite bakery they brought us back some treats. Really thoughtful. Lastly, the apartment is only about two blocks from Fillmore Street with all its great shops and restaurants and there is a reliable bus network going in most directions so you can be almost anywhere in the city quite easily.

Great location! Great amenities! (stocked fridge upon arrival!) and the hosts were very interested in making sure I was comfortable and had a good stay. Fortunately, there was little I had to ask for - everything was great!

The apartment is in a wonderful location within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Lisa is very kind and had stocked the kitchen for our arrival. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet. The patio has a great view of the city and was a nice place to relax in the mornings and evenings.

My parents stayed in Lisa and Hal's apartment for a month while visiting us. They had a great time. The apartment is bright, clean and quiet and it has a wonderful deck with a beautiful view of San Francisco. Lisa was the perfect host. She was available when we needed her and respected my parents need for privacy too. We would definitely book the apartment again.

Lisa and Hal were great hosts. They welcomed us with a basket of fruit, drinks and a loaf of fresh Italian bread. They were very available whenever we needed their help and always tried their best to satisfy our needs. The apartment is very cozy, quite and positioned in a very beautiful neighborhood full of reastaurants and grocery stores, very well connected via public transportation. Also there is a superb park to run by just at a few meters from the house. Above all what really made a difference was the hardwood floor patio with a great view of the city that made our breakfast during the week end even more romantic and relaxing!

Lisa's one bedroom apt in Pac Heights is in the perfect location to great restaurants, wine bars, and boutiques! Lisa + Hal were great hosts with delicious goodies waiting for us upon our arrival. Our month long stay gave us the opportunity to check out all there is to do in Pac Heights and Marina.
