Casa Las Eras offers the best of the rural Andalucian countryside, with its superb olive groves, and yet is close to the wonderful inland Lake of Iznajar, with its own beach, where you can swim, kayak, sail and much more. This 2 bedroom traditional cottage, situated in the heart of the 'white village' of La Celada, Iznajar, is ideally suited to a couple, or family, seeking to experience 'Real Spain' at an affordable price.
The cottage has two floors - The gated entrance is leads into the pretty front patio. Downstairs there is a lounge, kitchen opening into the dining room and separate WC. The upper floor has two bedrooms - one double/one twin - with a bathroom consisting of 'wet room' with shower, WC and basin. The landing leads to a lovely large, completely private, terrace...or beer garden...perfect for sun worshippers, outside dining (BBQ) or relaxing with a cool beer or glass of wine.
The village of La Celada is a hamlet of Iznajar, - just a few minutes drive to the town, with its fabulous Moorish Castle, lake and beach. It has its own well-stocked shop, in the plaza (square), traditional Spanish bar and play/exercise park. The area is known as “The crossroads of Andalucia”, being that it borders the provinces of Malaga, Granada and Cordoba and has excellent motorway access; the coast and major cities being easily reached in about an hour. Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is just 1.50hrs away.

The cottage has been recently fully renovated offering traditional charm yet modern facilities. Free WiFi is available in the cottage.
Lounge - There is a large comfortable corner sofa which can be converted to a double bed for additional guests. A woodburner provides heating for any chilly winter months. There is a Smart TV to allow you to watch UK, Spanish or TV channels from around the world! A range of DVDs and books are available for use by guests, together with a portable CD player that can be moved inside and out to suit.
Kitchen/Dining - Fully equipped with 5 ring cooker, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer and many other appliances to make your stay comfortable. There is also a second woodburner. The kitchen opens into the dining room and has a large extendible table and chairs.
Bedrooms - Both bedrooms look out to the front of the house, overlooking the village park, with play area and exercise equipment. Both bedrooms have ceiling fan/lights and separate portable fans, if required, for very hot nights. There is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a hairdryer is also provided. Linen and towels are included for use in the cottage.
Bathrooms - There is a separate WC on the ground floor and the upstairs wet room has a large tiled shower, WC and basin.
Terrace/Beer Garden - The landing leads out to a large secluded terrace with bar and BBQ. There is outside seating and table with large umbrella for shade. It is the ideal place for watching the glorious sunsets with a glass of Spanish wine from the extensive range available locally.
We also have a travel cot and highchair for use in the cottage if needed.
