Our Killarney Holiday Homes by Lakes at Killarney Holiday Village are located on the Muckross Road approx. 1.2miles from Killarney town centre. Situated adjacent to the The Killarney National Park, The Beautiful Lakes and 500 metres from The INEC, The Gleneagle Hotel and Brehon Hotel. We are also just 20km from Kerry Airport.

To get on the Muckross Road from either Cork or Limerick use the following directions:

Cork - When entering Killarney on the N22 from Cork take the first exit at the Park Road roundabout. Carry on for 600metres until you reach a mini roundabout by the Outlet Centre and take the first exit to the left. Follow this road until you come to another mini roundabout by the cinema. Again take the first exit left pass the Killarney Avenue Hotel. You are now on the Muckross Road. If travelling from Waterford you can use the N25 and N72 which connect with the N22.

Limerick - Taking the N21 from Limerick, get onto the N23 to Farranfore that runs past Kerry Airport. At Farranfore take the N22 towards Killarney. At the roundabout as you enter Killarney take the third exit right towards Killorglin. At next roundabout the Ballydowney Roundabout, take the second exit left and follow the road for 1.5km making sure to keep right as you pass St Mary’s Cathedral. You then enter a one way system taking the third exit right by the horse jarveys. Carry straight on and you are on the Muckross Road. This route also applies when travelling from Galway.

Both routes described above can both be used when travelling from Dublin or Belfast.

Once on the Muckross Road continue on straight for approx 1 mile passing over the bridge, and on past the Brehon and Gleneagle Hotels on your left hand side. We are approx 500yds beyond the Gleneagle Hotel on the left side just past Hegarty's Filling Station , next to the Killarney Oaks Hotel and opposite the entrance to the Lake Hotel.

Visit Ross Castle, hire a bike, a mere five minutes away, or explore the beautiful Gap of Dunloe about a 15 minute drive. Swimming/gym access at the Aquila Club Leisure Centre only 500yds walk is available to our guests at a heavily discounted rate and 25m pool, tennis & pitch and putt mean all the family can enjoy! Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is only about 2 miles away with three of the finest courses in Ireland here, having hosted the Irish Open for the past few years, this is one of the best golf courses in Ireland which our guests have discount use of. Tour The Ring of Kerry, The Blasket Islands, Inch Beach, Dingle & Kenmare. These sights are equally as spectacular as Killarney and are certainly worth a visit.

Killarney town is abundant in fine restaurants, good pubs with traditional Irish music, shopping, cinema and arts and crafts. Summer Festivals, Horse Racing, Dance Festivals mean Killarney is a thriving, vibrant town , well known as one of the most scenic places to visit in Ireland. Famous for its Lakes, jaunting cars, spectacular beauty, gourmet food, you will find plenty to do in the locality. Water enthusiasts and adventure is certainly on the cards in The Star Outdoor Adventure Centre located in Kenmare, only 25minute drive. From kayaking, canoeing, and numerous other activities on offer, the whole family can enjoy a splendid visit to Kenmare. The stunning Inch Beach is about a half hour and is a glorious white sandy beach, one of the best in Ireland.

Killarney and Kerry are known as an excellent venue for walking, hiking and climbing. You can step out from our home and enter the 26,000 acres National Park across the road and you will find spectacular walking trails. Mountain climbing and hiking are very popular in the McGillacuddy Reeks Mountains which surround Killarney and Ireland's highest mountain Carrantuohill is also nearby.
