The legendary Niobe Waterfalls is the setting for this charming 2 bedroom 2 bath Victorian home at the end of a quiet country lane. Our private den sleeps two with clever and comfortable twin bed "sleeper chairs." Most rooms afford a spectacular waterfall view. A romantic, wrap around veranda runs along the river and is the perfect place for morning coffee or tea(supplied, of course, along with a variety of wholesome breakfast items). Your well mannered dog is always welcome; we provide bowls and bed for your canine companion. An updated, fully equipped cook's kitchen provides opportunities to cook with friends, or stroll over to the Fernwood Restaurant for cocktails and dinner. Our Waterfall Vacation Home is ideally located between Woodstock(12 miles), Saugerties(8 miles), Catskill(10 miles) and Hunter Mountain (for winter sports, 10 miles) in the sleepy hamlet of Palenville, the setting
for Washington Irving's story of Rip Van Winkle. The beauty of this area serves as the inspiration for the Hudson River School of Painting. Horse lovers, take note! We are convenient to H.I.T.S. for summertime equestrian events.
