'Alani House sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean, and Honoli'i Beach is at the end of the block. There are only a few beaches with direct access and lifeguards in the entire Hilo District. Honoli'i Beach is arguably the biggest and best known.

We are only 2.4 miles north of Hilo on the Hamakua Coeat. Traffic is light on the north side of Hilo, and driving to the airport is only 12 minutes. With a view of Hilo Bay and the Pacific Ocean, you can watch whales and cruise ships from the front lanais. There are 3 lush waterfalls within easy walking distance from the house.

Directions

From Hilo Internation Airport (ITO) turn right (heading north) onto HWY-11 for 4 block, then turn left (heading west) onto HWY-19 (Mamalahoa HWY). Continue for about 5 miles, then turn right (heading east) onto Nahala Street. Just one block and turn right (heading south) on Kahoa Street. Look for the orange house on the mauka-side.

Neighborhood

Alae Point is located about 2 miles north of downtown Hilo, Hawai'i on the Hamakua Coast. Kahoa Street wraps around the Honoli'i River and features a black-sand beach and 3 natural waterfalls.

Rental Terms

 Check-in Time: 4:00 PM
 Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
General Terms & Policies:
Cancellations are refundable if cancelled 60+ days prior to the date of arrival. Between 31-60 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. With 30 or fewer days notice, no refund. Nevertheless, if new renters occupy for some or all of the cancelled days, there will be a refund for the days that are rented. A $100 cancellation fee applies.
