West Dennis Cape Cod Waterview + Walk to Beach Cottage

Centrally located in West Dennis with the beach, village, shops, restaurants, bars and harbor all within walking distance.

The cottage sits under the pines among a handful of cottages in a lakefront community with swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing just steps away. The cottages are a nice distance from each other and Summer Pines Cottage has a large private backyard for outdoor games.

There is also a small playground with swing set just for the community.

Newly renovated and decorated in classic Cape cottage style, it has a first floor queen bed master bedroom with peeks of Kelley's pond and two separate loft bedrooms (one twin bed in each) accessed by a spiral staircase. The cottage sleeps 4-5 comfortably.

Access to Kelley's pond is across the private community road between two other cottages to a rustic wooden dock. There is another lake entrance for kayaks, canoes and non-motorized boats at the end of the community too.

The two loft bedrooms each have reading nooks, window ACs and one of the loft bedrooms has a TV/VCR and a selection of books and kid's videos as well. Great place for kids to hang out while the adults enjoy the open kitchen/living room, dining porch or the deck and patio area with a grill.

The cottage also has a fireplace and baseboard heat for cool nights, a flat screen TV and sky-lit vaulted ceiling with a fan for hot days and is laid out so that there is space and places for everyone to enjoy a bit of privacy.

There is cable and a DVD and VCR on two TVs and WIFI wireless internet.

There is an outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach or lake or for your morning shower.

Unusual for Cape rentals but very handy for families and guests traveling to Cape Cod by air - this cottage also includes all bed linens, towels and has a washer and dryer.

When you arrive at Summer Pines Cottage you will feel as if you have gone back in time to the way Cape Cod used to be when families arrived for the whole summer - spilling out of their cars after a long drive full of happy anticipation for a summer stretching out endlessly.

So, leave the city cares behind, change into your flip flops, go jump in the lake or stroll into town for a drink watching the sunset over the harbor or to the beach for ice cream at the beach snack bar.

Available end of April - Oct, Summer Pines cottage is a great getaway - just 1.5 hours from Boston.
