Drive to 99 Maple Ave., Bay Shore, Long Island (NY). Park at ferry terminal, and catch a ferry to cross the Great South Bay to Ocean Beach. Unlock our wagon at the dock to take your belongings 1/2 mile to Grandpa's, on the ocean side of the island.

Ocean Beach is really getting away from it all--access is by ferry, only. Cars must be parked in Bay Shore. No chain restaurants, stores. Small groceries and restaurants. Great for slowing down and relaxing. Daily yoga/exercise classes. Day camps. Weekly baseball games. July 4th kids parade. Festivities.
