Welcome to our home, Chehalem Knoll, situated in wine country in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Newberg, OR.

Two miles outside historic downtown Newberg, Chehalem Knoll is located in a quiet community, one block from a city park that hosts a basketball court and play structure. A two mile walk takes you to downtown Newberg to explore antique shops, wine tasting, the library, and the Newberg Cultural Center. Take a 10 minute car ride and visit over 20 nearby wineries (of the 200 wineries in the area!) or golf at Chehalem Glen golf course. Experience the excitement of the famous July 4th St Paul Rodeo only 8 miles away.

Enjoy day trips to the Oregon Coast, the Evergreen Space Museum and Waterpark (home of the famous Spruce Goose), more antique shopping, the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge or majestic Mt Hood. Directions

Take I-205 South towards Portland/Salem. Follow I-205 until it merges again with I-5. Stay in far right lane and exit onto I-5 NORTH. Once on I-5 North, take the very first exit (Exit 289), which is Tualatin (Nyberg St/Tualatin Sherwood Rd). Turn left onto Nyberg St. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you get to 99 West/Pacific Hwy. Turn left onto 99 West/Pacific Hwy. Follow for about 8 miles to Newberg. In Newberg, turn Right at Springbrook Rd (this is the third stop light). Follow until you get to a stop light at College St (Hwy 219). Turn Right onto College St, go about ½ mile, then Right onto Edgewood Drive. Go 6 blocks and turn Left onto Knoll Drive.

General Terms & Policies:
1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the home.
2. GUEST PROMISES: a.The person signing this contract will be present during the entire rental period and is at least 25 years of age. b. Not to damage or misuse the home provided or allow his/her guest to do so; c. Not to act in a loud and boisterous, unruly or thoughtless manner or disturb the rights of the neighborhood to peace and quiet or allow his/her guests to do so; d. To use the home only as a private residence and not to engage in any activity or allow any condition that is illegal or dangerous or which would cause a cancellation, restriction, or increase in homeowner insurance premium or allow his/her guests to do so; e. To inform homeowners IMMEDIATELY if there are any issues with the home.
3. NO EVENTS of any kind are allowed on the property. Events include weddings, stag or stagette parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties or any other event.
4. This is a residential neighborhood and local noise restrictions apply. Noise restriction time from 10PM to 7AM PST
5. FIRES/FIREWORKS – no fires or fireworks are to be used on the property at any time. Failure to abide by this rule will result in guest immediate expulsion with no refund or unused rental money or deposit.
6. APPLIANCES – Only use appliances for their intended uses.
7. OUTDOOR GRILLING – Pull grill away from the house to the outer edge of patio to grill. This is a natural gas grill only.
8. MOVE OUT OF HOME – Guest will move out of the home by 11:00AM on the day this rental agreement ends. If Guest does not move out after this rental agreement ends, Guest will be charged $25 per every 15 minutes over the check out time and be liable to homeowners for any resulting losses including rent and court costs.
9. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required 60 prior to arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent.
10. CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund.
11.MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to six persons. Children under the age of 12 will not be charged, however, they are
included in the total number of 6 guests.
12. MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate except for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
13. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
14. NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are provided, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
16. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense
will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money,
and the party will not be permitted to check in. Likewise, guests who have
already checked in and who are found to have used the premises under false
pretenses will be denied the return of the security/damage deposit.
17. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must
be approved in writing in advance.
18. PARKING – Parking is limited to three (3) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in front of garage doors. Parking on the road is discouraged. Any illegally parked
cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility
of the vehicle owner.
19. FIREPLACES – The fireplace is a glass enclosed gas fireplace. Please turn off
the fireplace whenever you leave the home unattended.
20. STORM POLICY– No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be
curvy and steep. We highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the
snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.
21. TRAVEL INSURANCE – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel
insurance. If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com
for details and to purchase.
Rental Agreement:
Guest must sign rental agreement before reservation is confirmed. Contact owner for rental agreement. In the case of multiple request for same date, the first rental agreement and deposit to be received by owner will be confirmed.
