We were visiting LA from SD for a special event in the city. We used to live in LA so are well acquainted with the area choosing it for its proximity to both the LA and the Valley as well as the beaches and the museums Perfect for a family reunion, while some also had business to attend. It’s so convenient for hikes, beaches, restaurants, museums, Hollywood…we easily ticked every box on our To Do List. The owners stated that the kitchen and bathrooms were newly renovated, and all was completed stylishly. It was clean and kept up with great support from the owner. Nicely decorated. Easy and comfortable. Definitely would come back again.
My family came to LA in order to see my nephew who was attending the NY Film School here. The house was amazing and the photos did not do justice to the stunning view of the surroundings mountains. The house was located about 15-20 minutes from pretty much everything, beaches, shops, Universal Studios, Warner Bros Studios. Another plus, just 3 minutes down the road at the Glen Center, was a Starbucks, Post Office, several restaurants and a lovely designer boutique. On Sunday, we had a BBQ with 3 of my nephew's classmates. We all enjoyed the pool, BBQ gazebo, patio and lounge area. It made for a great day SoCal style! The Kitchen and Linens were well stocked and the furnishings were very tasteful. The owners went out of their way to make sure our stay was stress free. We would highly recommend this property.
Our family of four enjoyed every aspect of this home. It is private, quiet, modern and clean. The location is perfect, close to shopping and restaurants, yet you feel like you have a private oasis. The pool is large and the outside decks are perfect for all of your meals and for watching the nature that surrounds the area. We heard owls in the night and never needed any air conditioning as the warm days transitioned into perfectly cool nights for sleeping. The home is very well stocked and we had everything we needed for a terrific vacation. Sue and John were wonderful hosts and were always available for any questions and were easy to communicate with. Highly recommend! Thank you Sue and John!
UCLA Conference brought us to Westwood. The well located Bel Air retreat made for an easy 5-10 minute commute by car. Our host Sue was present at arrival and proved to be the real jewel of this very scenic house. The fine views (nearly 360* panorama) was a surprise, and the tasteful decor had us thinking maybe we need to step up our game at home. With a younger child, we spent much of the afternoon in the solar heated "large" pool. Sitting at the deck with the setting sun and incoming sea breeze was a favorite past-time. Parking was easy with garage. Remarkable property with great views yet secluded.

We absolutely Loved this house! It was perfect. So modern, and around the corner from so many attractions. Hollywood and Beverly Hills are 15-20 minutes away. We only had 4 people but it would be very comfortable with many more. The outdoor sitting areas are like a sanctuary. We absolutely loved it and the area. We will be back. I would recommend this to anyone. We felt the pictures did not do it justice. They thought of every detail. Also 5 minutes away is a quaint strip center with dining and coffee. Lovely!!

I rented this amazing home for my wedding weekend. I live in Los Angeles and was looking for a place for my friends coming into town and for me to get away from the crazy wedding festivities. This house is everything it is advertised to be. Up in the hollywood hills, it is quiet and peaceful, but still close to all the action. The inside looks like it has been recently updated. The furnishings are great with modern furniture and appliances. The master bedroom is huge with a balcony that has an amazing view of the hills and canyon. The crown jewel of the house is definitely the outdoor space. The pool and deck area is where we spent our days. It will forever be in my memory as this was the place I spent with my friends the morning I got married. Hanging out by the pool, swimming, fire pit. It was all perfect. One more thing to mention, the owners. They are fantastic. Easy to work with and always available. They checked in every once in a while through text and email to make sure we had everything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend this house for anyone wanting to visit LA, or in my case, lives in LA and wants the feeling of getting away from it all without being too far from the action. Thank you again for the use of your home. It was a dream weekend that I will never forget.
This house is truly ideal for a getaway to L.A. It's in the hills of Bel Air. It's private, quiet, with beautiful views. At the same time, you can get in the car and in five minutes be on Sunset Boulevard driving through Beverly Hills. You get all the perks of the big city, while also feeling like you have a private retreat. The house itself is superb. You can dine and relax outdoors, take a swim. Inside, the house is comfortable, and has every amenity you'd need or want. As an extra benefit, the owners are so very friendly. They also make sure everything is just right. There were just two of us, but if you want to travel with several people and split the cost, this is a great place for that. There are two bedrooms (each with its own private bathroom) in one part of the house upstairs. Then there's a separate staircase leading to a very large bedroom with 2 queen size beds and a private bathroom. So this house is ideal for just two people or several couples or groups. If I come back to L.A., this is the only place I would want to stay. I really could not recommend it higher.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the house in December and loved it. The road up to the house is a little narrow and steep, but we were fine with mid-size rented cars, and watched a full-size garbage truck whizz up the hill, so it's definitely manageable. But what that road makes possible is to be only minutes from the hubbub of LA and Beverly Hills, but feel very secluded and up in the mountains. The patio and pool have beautiful views, surrounded by flowers and birds. The house was lovely, with enough space for a group larger than our own (which was 3 adults and 2 kids). Museums, shopping, restaurants and movie theaters were all within easy drives. The owners were helpful even before our stay, with suggestions for our trip, and while we were at the house, the only very minor problem we had with some TV reception was taken care of within a matter of hours.

We are a family of five who headed to L.A. to meet with family over our spring break (kids' ages 12,14,16). We flew in late so Sue met with us the next morning to go through the house and answer any questions. The house was exactly as described in the ad, if not better due to it's location. It's tucked up in the hills in such a peaceful, quiet location with scenic views from the patio and master deck. It's also centrally located making it easy to get around the city and to all the tourist attractions. Our three teenage kids were thrilled they each had their own bed and bathrooms and enjoyed using the pool daily (we did pay extra to heat it -- well worth it). The house has a stocked kitchen for any cooking/dining needs. It also has plenty of bedroom and bath linens and full size laundry machines if needed. We also had use of the attached garage. There was a little strip center five minutes up the road with a market, Starbucks, cleaners, etc, or you could drive about 10-15 mins. into Sherman Oaks for a full service grocery stores, restaurants and shopping -- Very convenient. Overall, it was a great house and we would definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area!
