Also on this level is the twin bedroom with window seat overlooking the sea. TV in room.The Fife Coastal Path leads down from the house and is extremely popular with both locals and tourists. Although The Watch House sits on its own it is only a few minutes from the local pubs/hotels, shops and restaurants.A LITTLE HISTORY Although a very small town, Crail has an extremely impressive history, its royal charter being granted by Robert the Bruce in 1310. This charter gave the people of Crail the right to trade on the Sabbath, which may explain why 200 years later John Knox chose Crail parish church as the venue for his most violent of sermons!LOUNGE WITH OAK BEAMS DATING FROM 1782During renovations the old stone walls were revealed behind the plaster walls and an original old beam was discovered. This now forms a feature of the lounge in The Watch House.The lounge now has dimmer lights and recessed spots highlight the stone walls. The Watch House has a full kitchen with hob and oven, it also has a microwave oven and washing machine for your use.All the usual kitchen items are available and it has a fridge and freezer.
