This house is a year round home, with many amenities that are not found in most of the cottages on the island. It's in a private and quiet location on Horns Hill, has wi-fi, stocked kitchen, linens provided and clear beautiful drinking water from the faucet. There are trees in the yard, and I feed the many birds that migrate through the area. Lots of great bird photos have been taken right from my windows! It's a stone's throw to both the high cliffs that run the East side of the island, and down the hill to the village where you'll find stores and eateries. Beautiful breezes at the top of the hill, listen to the surf, boats, birds, and the evening quiet on this beautiful island 10 miles out to sea.

Walk through the small village from the ferry dock, past the general store, and take a left at the church and walk up Horn's hill road. The house is located at the top of Horn's hill, on the harbor side, shortly after the sign to Burnthead Cliff. The house is only a five minute walk from the village and a five minute walk in the other direction on the trail out to the cliffs.
Neighborhood
Quiet location, trees surround the home, and it has lovely views of the lighthouse and some water views from the upstairs windows. It has a private yard, with birds and gardens.

This house sleeps up to 6 people, but only 4 adults (w/2 children) are allowed at one time. This is a single family home with island-challenges with water/septic usage and conservation.
Also, there are golf cart rentals on the island available for those who may want an easier trek up Horn's Hill, the lawn is flat from the driveway to the front stair entrance.

50% due as a deposit to hold the reservation, 50% due 2 weeks prior to arrival.

There is a short and sweet rental agreement that runs down the costs and policies at the house.
